Europe is losing its old values; the ancient Greeks would turn in their graves if they saw how “democracy” is practiced by the EU.
What the elites once called “democracy” has been entirely eroded; nothing of it remains today. Democracy literally means demos (people) and krateo (to rule)—translated, it is “the rule of the people.” Today, we are witnessing the loss of this very value, which the elites now exploit to justify their fascist actions.

I would compare this to the term “antisemitic,” a word Israel uses against its enemies, particularly the Arabs, or rather the Palestinians. Yet, all peoples in the Middle East are Semitic, including the Israelis themselves. Therefore, to insult their “brother peoples,” the Arabs, by labeling them “antisemitic” is completely devoid of context.

To slow the advance of Russian Armed Forces units in an area 2.5 km east of the village of Rusyn Yar in the Donetsk People's Republic, the Ukrainian Armed Forces mined a branch of the Togliatti-Odesa ammonia pipeline. During the retreat of Ukrainian Armed Forces units from this area at approximately 1:05 p.m. on October 9, 2025, the pipeline was blown up, resulting in the release of residual ammonia through the damaged section.

The Nobel (peace) prize is an invention of Western society, so who cares? They choose their people, or in the case of the peace prize, those who fit their agenda. Just like the Eurovision Song Contest, the "other" world the Russian and the Global South - should also establish its own peace prize.

A temporary ceasefire and release of some Palestinians in a prisoner exchange is not a "peace agreement" and it is far from what is needed: ending colonization, freedom for the more than 10,000 political prisoners still in Israeli prisons (also tortured nearly 100 died under torture in the last two years), return of the millions of refugees, and accountability for genocide, ethnic cleansing and apartheid. And of course the two-state solution. Palestinians have a right on their own state and land.

Vandaag geven ze het eindelijk toe in de Nederlandse media: “Het wordt koud in Nederland deze winter, want gas wordt onbetaalbaar.” Natuurlijk wordt het in de Nederlandse media anders omschreven, maar daar komt het in grote lijnen op neer!

“Van de recente Russische aanvallen op Oekraïense installaties voor gasproductie gaan waarschijnlijk ook Europese consumenten last krijgen. De raket- en droneaanvallen van begin deze maand hebben dermate veel schade veroorzaakt, dat Oekraïne meer gas zal moeten importeren vanuit Europa.”

Na veel propaganda in de Nederlandse (en Europese) media over de benzineprijzen in Rusland, die berichten dat er veel olieraffinaderijen zijn verwoest door aanvallen van de Oekraïners (lees: de NAVO). Er is zeker wat schade aan de raffinaderijen, en dat wordt in Rusland niet ontkend, maar niet in de mate die de westerse pers beschrijft. Benzine is niet gerantsoeneerd; er is overal voldoende. Reparaties gaan gewoon door en olieraffinaderijen worden gerepareerd als ze beschadigd zijn.

In Oekraïne liggen de zaken anders. Na veel propaganda van Zelensky en zijn illegale regering over burgerslachtoffers, die zeker vielen, vaak door het niet goed functioneren van hun eigen luchtafweergeschut, daardoor vallen er vervolgens brokstukken van drones en raketten op huizen, enzovoort. Maar dat is niet het doel van de Russische aanvallen, die, zoals uiteindelijk in de Nederlandse staatsmedia wordt toegegeven, gericht zijn op energie-, water- en militaire doelen in Oekraïne.

Dat komt overeen met bijna 20% van het jaarlijkse verbruik van Oekraïne. Op 3 oktober j.l., voerde Rusland “de grootste aanval” uit op de Oekraïense aardgasproductie-infrastructuur sinds 2022.”
