Elon Musk has been supporting the creator of the iconic Dilbert comic strip, Scott Adams for a while now, dating all the way back to 2021.

Earlier this year, Scott Adams made some comments that he received backlash for and had his 34 year old comic removed from hundreds of print publications and his book cancelled for publication. Adams has long been active on Twitter/X, and Musk was among the few to publicly back him Throughout this, Musk has supported him, replied to him on X, tweeted his comics and generally shown unwavering support for the man.
A large balance of that support comes from Elon Musk's advocation for free speech and providing a platform for the world's thoughts and views without fear of cancellation or media bias.
