In 1846, Belgian inventor Adolphe Sax patented his masterpiece - the saxophone. But his path to musical innovation was paved with extraordinary challenges. As a child, he drank acid thinking it was milk, fell three stories, and survived carbon monoxide poisoning. 🎷

Despite facing three bankruptcies and endless patent battles, Sax persevered. Beyond the saxophone, he created an entire family of brass instruments including the saxhorn and saxtuba that revolutionized military bands across Europe. He even dreamed up ambitious inventions like the "Saxocannon" - a massive musical war machine that was never built.

His resilience eventually earned him a prestigious teaching position at the Paris Conservatory. Through all his trials, Sax's determination to innovate never wavered, leaving an indelible mark on the world of music that continues to this day. 🎵

"René Laennec's invention of the stethoscope in 1816 marked a significant advancement in medical diagnostics. During the early 19th century, auscultation, or listening to internal body sounds, was a crucial part of diagnosing various medical conditions. However, the practice of placing one's ear directly on a patient's chest was not only uncomfortable but also socially inappropriate, especially when examining women. Laennec, who was both a skilled physician and musician, used his expertise in carving wooden flutes to create a tubular device that could amplify internal sounds. This invention allowed doctors to listen to heartbeats and lung sounds more clearly and privately, revolutionizing the field of medicine.

The stethoscope quickly gained popularity among medical professionals, leading to further innovations and improvements over time. Laennec's original design was a simple wooden tube, but it laid the foundation for the modern stethoscope, which now includes advanced features such as flexible tubing, diaphragms, and electronic amplification. Laennec's invention not only improved diagnostic accuracy but also enhanced the doctor-patient relationship by allowing for more respectful and private examinations. His work exemplifies how creativity and innovation can address practical challenges, ultimately leading to significant advancements in healthcare."

Being fake isn’t worth the effort of remembering which lie to tell to whom.

Be you, it’s what you came here for

What most people don’t realise is that as a salt, DNA is a natural conductor of electricity. It is extremely sensitive to electromagnetic waves. Even a slight shift in your mood will create enough of an environmental signal to trigger a response from your DNA. Likewise, a negative or a positive thought will generate a subtle electromagnetic current throughout your body that will stir your DNA into some form of biological response. Most of us are completely unaware of how our moods, thoughts, beliefs and general attitude literally mould our bodies.

“If I can see the soul that happens to have incarnated into a person that I don’t care for, then my consciousness becomes an environment in which he or she is free to come up from air if he or she wants to.

That person can do so because I’m not trying to keep him or her locked into being the person that he or she has become. It’s liberating to resist another person politically, yet still, see him or her as another soul.

Remember, we are all affecting the world every moment, whether we mean to or not. Our actions and states of mind matter, because we are so deeply interconnected with one another. Working on our own consciousness is the most important thing that we are doing at any moment, and being love is a supreme creative act.”
