(Art Berman says conventional has been declining slowly since 2018). However significant declines in calories per capita and animal protein per capita can occur with the onset of shale declines as such an event will cause an energy shock induced recession. Countries whose citizens have high gasoline dependency are the first candidates to witness their nutritional profiles change.
