If you're doing scrap run, and you have steel, put your steel that is small in buckets and fill with water to increase the weight. I added another 60 to 80 pounds this way. You can use dirt water or rocks to help get that extra 3 to 5 bucks for nothing. That's a free half lunch or a half pack of smokes.

ALRIGHT RACCOONS! Needed money fast, so I worked fast and got $270 bucks scrapping this time. Enough to pay for the parts for wife's car, extra car and a nice dinner tax free. It's not the best, but it's not a terrible scrap haul. Steal is the meal cause steal is cheap. Steal is your bread and copper your steak while brass is your chicken wings. I didn't trade all my stuff, had another 20 lbs in wire that I would strip.
