Total blackout continues from six Mars orbiters of what's really happening with 3I/Atlas as it passes its perihelion with Mars. Amateur astronomers were able to process data from the Mars Perseverance Rover that gave low resolution images of 3I/Atlas on Oct 3/4, but high resolution images from the orbiters have still not been released.

Here's the first image released by one of the European Space Agency Mars orbiters of 3I/Atlas, which is approximately 30 million km away. Note the lack of a tail showing this is no comet.
NASA's Mars orbiters have the higher res cameras but they still have not released anything allegedly due to the govt shutdown.
