^^ For posterity — The scam/prank attempt from earlier this morning.
Many thought it was real.
PSA:
Immediately ignore any TARD messages that are asking you to do something and are not pinned in this group, as those are almost definitely scams.
More generally, never send anything to anyone, even if they do have the same logos as the official TARD accounts, since unfortunately telegram and twitter both make it easy to impersonate.
Instead, only believe anything that’s confirmed in at least 2 of the 3 official TARD channels, and preferrably all 3:
(1) twitter.com/tardonomics
(2) tardonomics.com
(3) t.me/tardonomics
Finally, never:
(A) share your private keys or
(B) link your wallet or
(C) give wallet spending approval in your wallet
— to any site or app that someone who appears to be from the TARD project is telling you to link or approve with, as almost definitely that is a scam.
AT MOST, only do the wallet “signing” of messages, as you do with the TARD linking app, but NEVER giving spending approval or anything else.
Going forward, we’ll be sure to always share any updates for anything you need to do on BOTH the official “tardonomics” twitter and telegram, and only will launch apps on the “tardonomics.com” domain.
Will share longer guides and additional safety steps you can take, that have saved us from some major scams, in the near future.
First rule of crypto is to survive.
