California. Dementia? A 93-year-old Fremont man, Richard Hocking is charged with murder in the fatal shooting of his 86-year-old wife Patty, whom he had been married to for 60 years.

Police say Richard drove his wife to a parking lot near their home, shot her in the head and called 911, where he surrendered to police shortly after. Hocking is being held without bail and is scheduled to return to court for his arraignment next week.
