This morning Certik, the cypto auditor, announced they had white-hat drained $3M from Kraken exchange.
Kraken apparently decided to play hardball.
Certik has now moved the drained funds into Tornado Cash to prevent Kraken from seizing it through legal means.
Crypto timeline split, half apparently saying that whitehat hacking is something that doesn’t exist.
Other half saying whitehat hacking does exist, despite that everyone hates Certik.
Tbh, pulling off successful major hacks could be Certik’s only hope at redeeming their reputation of being totally incompetant…Proving themselves competant enough to pull of hacks against major exchanges.
Painful to say this, as much as nearly all the auditing firms are total frauds — This is great for the industry.

Lawyers and insurance never should have been a total replacement for legit security.

Then rules of the centralized exchanges mean nothing.
Saving the people’s money takes priority over their fake rules.
