There’s a more serious version of this scam that’s been going on for at least a couple months, which someone close to me lost $10k on

Instead of writing checks from their own account, they steal someone else’s account numbers, e.g. from rent checks or direct deposit info, then prints a totally fake check that doesn’t even match your checks, and then gets some dude on the street to cash it

Then, since retarded Chase instantly clears the fake check, as this “glitch” shows, the thieves can instantly get the cash and disappear

GUESS WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

When you, the theft victim reports it,

CHASE IMMEDIATELY CLOSES ALL OF YOUR ACCOUNTS AND CHASE CREDIT CARDS AND BANS YOU FOR LIFE

as apparently the Chase retards have no way to recover the money, because they screwed up immediately clearing fraudulent checks, so they just blame you

So what can you do to protect yourself from this?

Nothing, apparently, if anyone’s even slightly motivated to attack you like this.
