Important to look at $BTC, and not the smaller ones like $SOL, when seeing if there are obvious patterns in the price movements

Not only because there are much clearer patterns on $BTC,

But because, mechanically, fair to say that

(1) The much larger $BTC drives the smaller ones, in the longer timeframes

(2) The smaller ones are, in the longer timeframes, often simply a distorted interpretation of the $BTC’s price movements, exceeding BTC’s highs when the market is optimistic, and underperforming BTC’s when the market is pessimistic

So yeah, in retrospect, BTC’s local top here perfectly fit the pattern
