The plane crashed at Aktau airport after a bird strike, Rosaviatsia reported in an official comment. They caused an emergency situation and loss of control.
The footage shows how a minute before the crash, the pilots try to level the plane, changing the trajectory up and down. Rosaviatsia reported that it is in contact with the carrier AZAL, the aviation authorities of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.

"Today at about 09:30 Moscow time, near the eastern coast of the Caspian Sea, while approaching the Kazakh airport of Aktau, an Embraer 190 aircraft of the Azerbaijani airline AZAL collided with the ground. The carrier was flying from Baku to Grozny. Preliminary: after a collision with birds, due to an emergency situation on board the aircraft, its commander decided to "go" to an alternate airfield - Aktau was chosen."
