Take a look at the demographics of some areas that are closest to true pure merit-based tech innovation, e.g.
(A) Those building open source projects outside of the workplace,
(B) Those creating new proofs in proof assistants,
(C) To a lesser degree, the top math olympiad winners — slightly less relevant here because it’s not new innovation — though still shows similar trend

= ALL ABSOLUTELY WHITE & (NON-INDIAN) ASIAN MALE DOMINATED,
