Idea I just remembered —
Wonder if we could get the AI’s to be good at “newsworthiness” ratings / extracting the most newsworthy angle / creating a noscript for a twitter/reddit post about coins that would get the most likes
E.g. this is exactly how I knew PNUT was going to be huge, spread through the news like wildfire, and be a huge coin from the instant I saw the first article about the state killing him — extremely high newsworthiness, especially given the environment at the time
— and yeah, something like this has always been at the heart of early-stage investment decisions since forever. Big part of success can be getting picked up by social media & press — and that’s hugely dependant on whether there’s any newsworthy angle. Newsworthiness is a huge factor in success of many of the top winners

I.e. often startups:
(1) Create something
(2) Try to get journalists to write about it
(3) Journalists say there’s no newsworthy story here
— And then you’re kinda screwed, because you’ve invested huge time into building something but can’t get the word out.
So, obviously, one way to solve this problem is just to reverse the process:
(1) First find something very newsworthy
(2) Create something very relevant to that
(3) Get journalists to write about it, which they will because it’s newsworthy
Same clearly can apply to memecoins & investment decisions too.
Also has the nice side-effect that communities often are much easier to form around very newsworthy things
