Alternate interpretation of what this is: Proving the right will fund their side of the culture war
There’s classic rule in startups,
Never ask people what they want — Instead ask what they’d be willing to PAY for
By this rule, you should treat any claims of badly wanting something as absolute BS, no matter how much someone screams that they want it — Unless they’re actually willing to PAY for it
In the same way, up to now, the right constantly claimed they wanted things to change, but were apparently never willing to fund it
With things like USAID, or the Karmelo Anthony’s gofundme — the left repeatedly proved they were willing to pay for their side to win
Meanwhile, according to the classic money talks rule, the right was talking BS,
Until now
This is a landmark moment, because the right finally started putting their money where their mouth is

Randomly remembering those movies about African child soldiers
Man, I wonder what those child soldier armies were really like
Were they little battlefield prodigies, like those little kids taught to skateboard since they were infants?
Or was it a total clown-show?

In 2007, the typical repeat U.S. homebuyer was 46 years old and born around 1961
In 2024, the typical repeat U.S. homebuyer was 61 years old and born around 1963
In other words, 17 years later, the typical repeat buyer is pretty much the same cohort
