— They kept lying that they got the jokes, despite their explanations making no sense and objectively not satisfying even the basic elements of a real joke

— and even more… they couldn’t even seem to comprehend, or at least admit, that there could even be objectively right or wrong explanations showing someone got a joke

Like they couldn’t even comprehend that jokes are a real thing, and that everyone else isn’t just faking getting the jokes like they do
