Iran has the legal right to withdraw from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), according to Abbas Golroo, head of Iran’s Parliament Foreign Policy Committee.
He cites Article 10, which allows withdrawal if “extraordinary events have jeopardized the supreme interests” of a member state.
His statement comes after U.S airstrikes hit 3 Iranian nuclear facilities.
