Labor market demographics are rapidly shifting:
The foreign-born labor force in the US has shrunk by -3.4% over the last 3 months, the steepest decline since at least 2007, excluding the 2020 pandemic.
During this time, the foreign-born labor force has fallen 1.1 MILLION individuals, to 32.6 million, the lowest since December 2024.
Overall, the foreign-born labor force has surged by +6.3 million, or +24% since 2020.
