Tsunami Waves of 3 to 12 Feet Possible in Hawaii

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center and emergency officials now warn that waves between 3 to 12 feet (0.9–3.6 meters) could strike parts of Hawaii following the magnitude 8.8 earthquake. Sirens are sounding statewide.
