But since the vast majority are too retarded to reason about counterfactuals, they’re unable to even consider the alternate (real) reality where the statement isn’t even true
e.g. “since that dude’s dog is gay, it shouldn’t be allowed in the communal dog showers, right?” — But the dog is not gay
So yeah, false presuppositions = effective attack on 99% of people’s inability to counterfactually reason about multiple possible worlds at once, instead just latching onto the first reality presented, even if it’s a blatant lie
