Hundreds of thousands took to the streets of Minsk to protest the steal.
Lukashenko’s regime seemed close to falling but the then unleashed a wave of terror, securing his hold on power.
It’s worth noting that people protested under the colors of Belarus’ centuries old white-red-white flag, not the red-green Soviet monstrosity created by Lukashenko.
A free Belarus, distancing itself from Russia and becoming an EU and NATO member state is just a matter of time
