The President of Iran called the US demands to hand over enriched uranium unacceptable.
Masoud Pezeshkian stated that Washington proposed to exchange the entire stock of enriched uranium for a three-month delay before the sanctions are reinstated.
According to him, if Tehran agrees, in a few months the US will make new demands and threaten sanctions again.

The index measures whether economic data comes in above or below consensus estimates.
This comes as Q2 2025 GDP growth, initial jobless claims, and personal spending data all surprised to the upside.
