Good Idea:
A import border carbon tax
https://www.wired.com/story/eu-carbon-tax/

The European Union has initiated a large-scale experiment with a carbon border tax on imported goods, marking the first attempt at such a policy worldwide. The Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) imposes an import tax on carbon-intensive products to level the playing field for EU industries subject to high carbon prices. While the CBAM is currently in a soft-launch stage, it will require importers to buy CBAM certificates for embedded emissions from 2026 onwards. The new rules initially apply to imports of cement, steel, aluminum, fertilizers, electricity, and hydrogen, with potential expansion to other high-emission goods. The CBAM is designed to encourage other countries to adopt carbon pricing mechanisms, ultimately boosting global efforts to combat climate change. However, it faces criticism from some countries and challenges related to World Trade Organization rules.
As proponents of colonialism observe "Columbus Day," we remember the brutal legacy that he represents and celebrate those who continue to resist.

It's easy to make everything a conspiracy when you don't know how anything works.
It seems that some people on the left have been relativizing the acts of Hamas lately and if there's anyone in here with these kind of takes, I'd like to remind you that Hamas is a fundamentalist group, it's not any better than the Israeli extreme-right government.

What the colonial Israeli government wants for Palestinians, Hamas wants it for Jewish people, whether they were settlers or Palestinian Jews. They're not that dissimilar in terms of ideology, they are however different when it comes to means and support they get.

What kind of future do you think Hamas wants for people in Palestine if they got their way?
Advocating for Hamas is just advocating for a different flavor of violence. Not encouraging resistance against oppression. Hamas is a threat to both Jewish people in the Levant and Palestinians.

You can support Palestinians without excusing the acts of Hamas. Conflating the two is dangerous and playing the game of the Israeli government's propaganda.
Simply support Palestinians. Not extremist religious groups.
