The newly elected president of Argentina, Javier Milei, has described himself as an "anarcho-capitalist." He praises Trump, opposes abortion, and plans to accelerate neoliberal austerity to nightmare proportions.

Anarchists have always opposed capitalism and all politicians. So-called anarcho-capitalists draw on popular resentment of state power to legitimize wealth inequalities. No "liberty" is possible while a few rich people call all the shots.

An Argentinian anarchist tradition has organized against capitalism and state power for well over a century. We echo their slogan from the 2001 uprising:

Around 58% of these firms risk "net zero greenwash" due to insufficient policy backing aligned with the Paris Agreement. Despite featuring net zero terms on their websites, many companies fall short on genuine climate policy support. Over half of them face a risk, with 21.5% at significant risk and 36.5% at moderate risk. The report also highlights a weak link between talking about net zero and actually supporting climate policies among these companies. Only a small group genuinely commits to net zero targets through initiatives like the Science Based Targets
