🎉 Victorious results for the Green Left Party in Kurdistan (Southern Turkey)
Even though the electoral votes have not yet been determined everywhere, Gever is celebrating the YSP's clear victory in Kurdistan.
With 80% counted:
▪️In the regions of Amed, Dersim, Merdin, Şirnak, Wan, Agiri, Batman, Bitilis the YSP party had great results and Kılıçdaroğlu gained the main votes for presidency reaching 80% in some regions;
♦️ What is interesting to notice is that, the regions affected by the earthquakes had major win's of Erdogan - while these regions suffered because of Erdogan's negligence and neo-liberal policies... there are sources saying that this result is due to populist financial support provided by Erdogan's regime to families affected by the earthquake.

Today in Atlanta, City Council has to vote once again to endorse the millions of dollars that will be channeled to the police and their cronies through the Cop City project.
Hundreds of people lined up at City Hall to speak against the police training facility. The authorities cut off the signup process after the first 300 applicants, attempting to silence opposition as they have throughout this process. People are chanting "Stop Cop City!", "Let us speak!", and "Viva viva Tortuguita!" in memory of the forest defender police murdered in January.

Bei den letzten Wahlen war die Schweiz das einzige Land, in dem die Auslandtürken mehrheitlich Erdogan nicht unterstützt haben. Das war auch diesmal der Fall. 57% stimmten für den Oppositionskandidaten. Erdogan erhielt 41% der Stimmen. Der Grund dafür dürfte sein, dass ein grosser Teil der in der Schweiz Lebenden mit türkischem Pass Kurden sind.
