Happy International Women’s Day!
Do you believe that Switzerland has achieved gender equality? If not, what do you think we need to achieve this milestone?
🔍 We asked Swiss residents and the Swiss Abroad whether they believed men and women are treated equally in the Alpine country. The results revealed a clear difference between male and female respondents.
While most men agreed (54.3%), only one in four women (24.8%) shared this opinion.
Similarly, 64.5% of women favoured having as many women as men in leadership positions in every organisation, while only 36.8% of men supported this idea.
Our poll also showed some notable regional differences.
