Striking junior doctors in India's West Bengal state agreed to resume essential services, in a partial resumption of medical facilities, but they will continue their strike over the rape and murder of a colleague over a month ago.

Final results from today’s vote : the Swiss have rejected both biodiversity and pension reform proposals. 🗳️

Good afternoon!

After a busy but fairly predictable day, we’ve got the final results from Sunday’s vote in Switzerland.

🐝 The biodiversity initiative was rejected by 63% of voters, with only Basel City and Geneva in favour.

💰 The occupational pension reform also faced rejection, with 67.1% of voters against it, and no canton supporting it.

Turnout for the two votes was 45%.
