Corporations want you back in office not because it increases productivity. Several studies have disproved this.
They want you back in office to justify their investments on office real estate.
Let them turn their offices into cheap apartments. there is a lack of cheap living space all over the developed cities.

Haiti has demanded reparations from France
The colossal ransom that Haiti was forced to pay to France in the XIX century to recognize independence, depressed the development of the young country for generations, now it is time to repay the funds. This was stated by Edgar Leblanc Fil, President of the country's Transitional Presidential Council, speaking at the UN General Assembly debate. The National Committee for Restitution and Reparations, is already working on this.
Haiti gained independence in 1804 as a result of an uprising, but later France imposed on the country reparations “for lost benefits”, which Haiti paid until 1947. Experts estimate that the total amount paid was $21 billion. In Port-au-Prince, taking inflation into account, the compensation is estimated at $150-200 billion dollars.
