Roskomnadzor - The Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media, abbreviated as Roskomnadzor, is the Russian federal executive agency responsible for monitoring, controlling and censoring Russian mass media.

Roskomnadzor, continues its crackdown on internet freedom. This time, they have blocked Discord, a popular platform used by millions of Russians for gaming, work, and communication. This move follows the earlier blocking of YouTube, and now Steam is also listed in the registry of banned sites. With the potential for further restrictions on these platforms, we can consider the future of internet access in this country.

There is a strong suspicion of corruption behind these actions, as funds are allocated but little genuine progress is made. Instead of addressing real issues, authorities seem to be engaging in a facade of activity by limiting access to essential resources
