mastodon-telegram bridge via RSS:

1. create mastodon account.
•you can select instance from the guide/lists here or here.
•if you want you can use other Fediverse services, but better test in a dummy account and chat first

2. fetch the link to rss feed.
•examples:
https://instanceURL/@username.rss
https://instanceURL/@username.atom
•the 'instanceURL' part is the fedi/mastodon server name url (e.g. mastodon.social) and the 'username' is the account name you want to link (e.g. ministryofgoodideas)

3. Go to the bot that handles the bridge @rss2tg_bot
•press start
•drop the /settings command
•click around & get used to the UI
•decide preferred format for tg posts (example 1st image)

4. Once you have decided, add the bot to your channel and give it admin privileges (example 2nd image)

5. In the channel write @rss2tg_bot https://serverURL/@userNAME.rss
and write /settings@rss2tg_bot to set commands as in step 3.

Every time you post something in mastodon it should appear in the linked TG channel as a new post.
