Amongst the many slight contradictions in my ideology is that I am both anti-work and a team lead who likes to have meetings, even though I'm not exactly concerned about the level of work being done.

But this is unironically due to trying to make sure everyone is having more human interactions. One of the big faults of capitalism is that it makes it more likely for people to have jobs where they are by themselves for long periods of time. Mine included. Even a quick ten minute (we never go more) time to update and shit-talk, I find, is better on mental health. Sometimes that is better than an email.
