Don't believe I'll be taking any airplane flights for at least the next four years. Human flight was a declaration of contempt against the gods and the Trump administration's deregulation has brought the end of such hubris. I plan to stay on the ground like nature intended.

Happy Sun's Day.
May start getting into reading religious text again. My sibling, sort of ironically, definitely pushed me in the direction of druidry despite being an adamant protestant. Their format of religious devotion often involves being out in nature, reading their Bible or devotional and enjoying the world around them.
This too is worship.
The world around us rushes too much. We pagans, polytheists, heathens, and animists could all benefit a little from more than just regular ritual, but also regular reading and worship, even if it's a quick hymn or section of poetry outside.

Hear golden Titan, whose eternal eye with broad survey, illumines all the sky.
Self-born, unwearied in diffusing light, and to all eyes the mirrour of delight:
Lord of the seasons, with thy fiery car and leaping coursers, beaming light from far:
With thy right hand the source of morning light, and with thy left the father of the night.
Agile and vig'rous, venerable Sun, fiery and bright around the heav'ns you run.
Foe to the wicked, but the good man's guide, o'er all his steps propitious you preside:
With various founding, golden lyre, 'tis mine to fill the world with harmony divine.
Father of ages, guide of prosp'rous deeds, the world's commander, borne by lucid steeds,
Immortal Jove, all-searching, bearing light, source of existence, pure and fiery bright
Bearer of fruit, almighty lord of years, agil and warm, whom ev'ry pow'r reveres.
Great eye of Nature and the starry skies, doom'd with immortal flames to set and rise
Dispensing justice, lover of the stream, the world's great despot, and o'er all supreme.
Faithful defender, and the eye of right, of steeds the ruler, and of life the light:
With founding whip four fiery steeds you guide, when in the car of day you glorious ride.
Propitious on these mystic labours shine, and bless thy suppliants with a life divine.

This too will pass.
For every frost, a thaw.
Every winter heralds renewal.
Hail the coming spring.

Good Sunday.
The current climate (and my current means of work) is turning me more aggressively leftist than I have ever been. I have seen the mental divide between the rich and poor clear as day.
When the rich whine about protestors damaging property it is a smokescreen. The rich care about property in about the same measure as they do everything else, which is to say, they don't. The rich do not care about property in a meaningful way. This is because they can always buy new property.
The poor, however, will latch on to property with an unmatched death grip. If it needs to be fixed we fix it as far as we can. We normal folk will take care of our property to extents far outpacing our budgets because we don't have an Option. What we have is what we have. Where we live is where we live.
And yet we understand that persons are more important than property.
We only have the Earth and each other. Don't let the rich gaslight you into believing the bullshit objections about how you are allowed to express your anger about their actions.

Good Frigg's Day.
Today I am thinking a lot about our connection with the Earth. Everything we see, "man-made" or not, finds its origins in the Earth. Our metal comes from caves. Our rubber comes from tree sap. Our granite is only rock. No matter how "lab-grown" something is advertised, whether building material or medicine or otherwise, trace its origins and you will find that humans cannot generate anything by themselves. Even the magnetic fields in our bodies connects to the magnetic field of the planet. How prideful, then, to claim what is given by Mother Earth for no fee as their own creation, and to require payment for it.
"No one owns the water.
No one owns the lands.
No one owns the oceans.
No one owns the sands.
These are given by our Mother.
Our planet provides for free.
Only by hands of the greedy
Does the Earth require a fee.”

Good Saturn's Day.
Saturn, despite being known in modern day as the god of time who devoured his children, was primarily a titan of agriculture, harvest, cycles, and liberation. He is the Wheel of the Year personified. He is the wealth of the earth. This cycle of winter will end, and the seeds of spring are being sown. The harvest awaits. The earth, ransacked as it is, will take what it is due.
How long? Not long! How long? Not long! For what you reap, is what you sow!
-"Wake Up", Rage Against the Machine

Good Sun's Day.
Rarely will I do two days back to back of thoughts for the day. But today I was thinking about how the ancient Greeks were said to have believed that the voices within the mind were those of the gods.
Are they not?
When we interact with that which is Divine, do we not tap into that which is greatest within us to speak with that which is outside of us? Is the Divine not within our very spirit? The Divine which exists outside of even the collective unconscious is etched into me, into you, into us. Each of us contains a spark of Divinity within ourselves.
Carl Jung believed the gods exist as archetypes within the self and collective unconscious. What is really to differentiate the Cernunnos archetype within me from the Cernunnos without? Where does my consciousness end and the other begin? Is the difference even there at all?
"It's all in your head -- you just have no idea how big your head is."
