🤖 Calico: A Wearable Robot for On-Body Interaction

Researchers at the University of Maryland's Small Artifacts Lab (SMART LAB) have developed Calico → a miniature wearable robot with fast and precise locomotion. It consists of a two-wheel robot on an on-cloth track mechanism. By embedding neodymium magnets as markers, Calico can estimate its location and navigate your body. With various applications, it can listen to organs, guide dance routines, and provide workout feedback.
