The TON team conducted a public test to confirm its status as the world's fastest and most scalable blockchain.
What are the results?
- The test started at 18:02 MSC and ended at 18:13.
- In 11 minutes, 43,012,970 transactions were sent in the test network of 256 validators.
- The maximum transaction rate per second is 108,409 (TPS).
This is a record among all currently existing blockchains in the world. For example, Bitcoin - 5-7 TPS, Ethereum - 15 TPS, Solana - 65,000 TPS (past record holder).
Meanwhile, today also marks the 15th anniversary of the release of the Bitcoin whitepaper by Satoshi Nakamoto, the pseudonymous creator of Bitcoin.
