💥 SpaceX's 2 Starship flight test

SpaceX's Starship rocket failed during its second launch attempt → a few minutes after liftoff from Boca Chica, Texas, the Super Heavy upper stage exploded.

The 397-foot-tall rocket, which uses a two-stage system, underwent a planned "hot stage" separation, but the first stage exploded in mid-air afterward.

Starship, however, continued its flight into space, but about 10 minutes after liftoff, communication with the unit was suddenly lost. It was later revealed that SpaceX was forced to activate Starship's "flight termination system," which is basically a self-destruct system. This had to be done to prevent the ship from veering off course.
