Unitree Robotics has unveiled the new G1 model, priced at $16,000, a significant reduction from the $90,000 H1 model introduced in 2023.

The G1, standing at 127 cm, is smaller than the H1 and features a face with built-in lighting. It boasts 23 degrees of freedom and actuators with 90 Nm of torque. The control system uses a neural network model trained through reinforcement and imitation learning simulations.

Looking ahead, the company emphasized that the H1 remains their most powerful humanoid robot, and they will continue to support it. The G1 is more compact, visually appealing, and easier to use and maintain, although it cannot match the H1's power due to its smaller size.
