IPOR Yield farming strategies
Below I also highlight some yield farming to generate between 10%-100%+ yield on stablecoins and ETH derivatives on @ipor_io’s Earn platform.
TLDR:
• Earn yield on USDC, USDT, DAI, stETH, weETH
• Yields can be boosted to 100% APR via the IPOR liquidity mining program
• Boosted yields come from a combination of the native yield and powered-up yield by staking IPOR
3 type of Yield strategies to consider, depending on yield & risk appetite:
a. Native Yield only
• Provide liquidity only, yields primarily rived from protocol-generated fees and asset management
• Ranges between 3-8% for $ETH, 10-15% for Stables
b. Boosted Yield
• Stake LP tokens to get staked ipTokens
• Can boost yields 3-5% with minimal risk and no lockup (0.5% withdrawal fees applies for both native yield & boosted yield)
c. Powered-up Yield
• Stake LP tokens to get staked ipTokens
• Leverage staked $IPOR (pwIPOR) to increase effective weight of liquidity
• Yield is calculated based on the ratio between staked LP and staked IPOR delegated
• Higher pwrIPOR to LP ratio = higher yield (but higher risk due to price exposure to underlying $IPOR)
Personally, a pwIPOR to LP ratio of 0.15 is a sweet spot given a sub 15% price exposure to IPOR whilst earning 30% yield on stables; Adjust this ratio to your own risk appetite and horizon timeframe. A small % of port allocated to yield-generating stables is my personal play, as you never know when you may need the liquidity to ape new shiny coins.
