Фильм 2017 года "The Endless" надо было назвать "The Infinity": так бы точно попадало в цитату "We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity". Потому что кино именно про это – про тёмное море бесконечности и его обитателей, про внушающие страх возможности пересечения с ними, а также про то, как они оставляют шрамы на нашем мире... Реальные, а не киношные шрамы, конечно.
