Sesuai namanya, folder adalah suatu tempat yang digunakan untuk menyimpan suatu file ke dalamnya. Jadi, kalau di software atau app ngedit begini, fungsinya ya buat nyimpen layer design kamu.

Gunanya supaya layer kamu lebih rapih dan ngga ribet nyari-nyari kalau mau replace, recolor atau ngubah apapun dari layers yang kamu punya. Folder juga bisa dipakai supaya panel layer kamu jadi hemat (apalagi buat kalian yang sekali ngedit bisa sampe puluhan layer).
Terus, berdasarkan pengalaman saya, folder juga jadi nilai plus buat kalian yang HP-nya udah mulai full memory. Kenapa? Karena kalau pakai canvas yang gede dan layernya banyak tapi kalian group ke dalam folder, bakal lebih engga nge-lag nantinya.
