🔵How did you get started? What was your first site that actually made money?

I started from scratch — no SEO knowledge, no web dev skills. It was 2014, I just had a basic understanding of how gambling works and a strong desire to make money. No budget either.

The first site that brought in money also launched in 2014. Toward the end of the year, it was getting up to 100 daily visits. It focused on no-deposit bonuses and was built on a basic hosting site builder (HTML). It was a complete SEO mess — but those first visits and real FTDs gave me the motivation to keep going and build something serious.

It was tough at first — no real knowledge base, no courses or communities, just forums.

I had to learn everything through my own mistakes and experiments. But I don't regret a thing — that kind of experience is priceless.

🔵What’s the craziest promotion method that actually worked for you?

Ranking a site in the top 5 of search results — without any external SEO. Purely on internal optimization and content. It worked in Yandex back then, as long as the niche wasn’t too competitive. And it worked for real money keywords.

I haven’t worked with Yandex for over two years now, so no idea if that still flies. Probably behavioral signals (PF) matter even more than links these days.

🔵If you had to start doing SEO from scratch today, how would you approach it?

Honestly, everything changes so fast — it doesn’t really matter which specific trend you follow. The core idea stays the same:

Build sites, drive traffic, monetize.

If I were starting SEO for gambling today from zero,

I’d go for low-competition keywords in low-competition geos — and pair that with the right affiliate programs.

From experience, I already know who I'd work with… but I’ll keep that to myself. 😉

🔵What’s the best professional advice you’ve ever received?

I can’t remember one specific piece of advice. What always motivated me was seeing other affiliates succeed — and watching what ranks in search.

Oh wait — there was one. After I created my blog, someone used the feedback form and wrote:

"You should start a Telegram chat for affiliates — way easier to share ideas and help each other."

At the time, I didn’t even use Telegram. But I did it, added the link to the blog — and it slowly turned into a full-on community. A lot of affiliates (myself included) learned so much from that chat. Some still do.

These days, people share less because competition is brutal — but the most relevant and useful stuff still gets discussed.
If you're the one who sent that message — thank you. That advice changed a lot. Not just for me.

🔵What does your perfect day off look like?

No problem answering that — my hobby is pretty much my lifestyle: fishing. Winter, summer — doesn’t matter. I can easily spend a day or a week offline, totally enjoying it.

I love getting out into nature with overnight stays, especially by a river. All the little things that come with that — I live for it.

🔵Your top advice for new webmasters who want to crush it in SEO?

I don’t see myself as a “top-tier” expert, but I’ll share what helped me:

1. Keep strict control over all the work you do. Be detail-oriented and creative at the same time.
2. Don’t stress over failed sites or dropped affiliate programs. Just keep moving. Even better — scale up in a way that makes those failures nothing more than calculated risks.

🔵How did you become the CEO of CardsPro?

The idea for CardsPro emerged in 2022. By then, Capitalist had already carved its niche in the media buying market as the most reliable payment system offering an excellent card product. 🔵Have you worked with traffic yourself? How deep are you into affiliate marketing?

I’ve been involved in affiliate marketing since 2017. Back then, Instagram stories had just started to emerge, and they were converting well. We purchased stories in all the popular public pages and directed them towards gambling.

It was amusing to ride the subway and see people watching your ads.

🔵What are you most proud of in this project?

🔵What's your most unconventional success story with a media buying team?

At the age of 20, right after my military service, I took a job as a systems administrator. Although I generally enjoyed my work, some friends introduced me to media buying. I vividly remember how, during my regular shifts, I was driving to clients' facilities for about 30 thousand rubles a month, while at the same time negotiating ad placements with the administrators of various Telegram channels.

Eventually, my efforts paid off: we rented an office, formed a fully functional business unit, and the head of the purchasing department extended both a job offer and - as a somewhat strange incentive - a one-year gym membership. I accepted.

Within two short months, I was making several times my previous salary.

That's how my passion for sports unexpectedly propelled my career.

🔵What do you wish you had known when you started this journey? And what was the most valuable piece of advice you've ever received?

I wish I knew Bitcoin's price for 2025... Just kidding.

My first piece of advice:

easy money is a myth.

Even in media buying, not everyone drives a Lamborghini. Behind every Lambo is a story of ups and downs. Realizing that money requires hard work saved me from risky ventures and shady deals throughout these years.

The second is

the ability to anticipate trends and stick to your guns.

Take influencer traffic, for instance—it’s existed for over ten years now. Each year someone declares it dead, yet it thrives on. Those who stuck with it and perfected their approach are now wealthy and successful entrepreneurs.

Lastly, in business—and indeed in life—

it is very important to understand when it is worth going all the way and putting all your resources into the business, and when it is worth stopping and doing something new.

Be prepared to weather tough times.

🔵How did it all start? How did you get into the world of anti-detect and affiliate marketing, and what led you to becoming the CEO of GeeLark?

Before starting GeeLark, I was the COO & CPO of one of the leading anti-detect browser teams. In that role, a recurring thought was the absence of a robust mobile anti-detect solution.

My earlier career foundation was built over six years working at tech giants like Tencent/WeChat and Alibaba/UC Browser. Subsequently, I spent four years immersed in China's affiliate marketing/traffic arbitrage industry, dealing extensively with both web traffic and mobile traffic from platforms like WeChat and Xiaohongshu (RedNote).

It was these varied experiences that underscored for me the equal significance of both web and mobile app traffic. Recognizing this gap and the critical need, I initiated the GeeLark project with the specific goal of developing the pioneering mobile anti-detect solution.


🔵You’re from Singapore, but you work closely with the CIS market. What surprised you the most about the mindset or business culture of local partners?

The direct and simple communication style really surprised me, and I found it very much to my liking. This stands in contrast to the more reserved way many of us express ourselves in Asian cultures.

🔵What’s the most valuable piece of advice you’ve ever received or given — whether it’s about managing a team, building a product, or just life in general?

1. Critical thinking is more important than execution.

2. Kindness and sincerity are more important than intelligence.

These principles are emphasized by the founder of WeChat, Allen Zhang. I had the opportunity to work with him for several years and have always held him in high regard. These advice apply to building products, living your life, and managing teams.

🔵GeeLark is a mobile anti-detect — which already sounds like a bold move. What were the most unexpected or challenging parts of launching and growing the product?

For the first three months after launch, I wasn't entirely sure if this was what the industry truly needed, mainly because new clients were coming in quite slowly. However, once GeeLark started gaining recognition in the Asian market, our focus shifted. Promoting it across the CIS and European markets became our next biggest challenge, especially since these regions are less familiar with cloud phone usage.

This wasn't an easy process, but collaborations with local partners, like 3SNET, helped us significantly along the way.
