☹️ Policy pessimism: Optimism over Trump’s U.S. Crypto Strategic Reserve faded when it became clear the government wouldn’t immediately buy Bitcoin.

⛄️ Snowball effect with investor risk aversion: Crypto funds faced four straight weeks of outflows, totaling $4.7 billion by early March. Institutions trimmed exposure amid bearish sentiment and macroeconomic uncertainty, with many investors fleeing to safer assets.

📉 Technical correction: A descending triangle pattern in the crypto market cap broke in early March, leading to a drop to ~$2.6 trillion by March 10. The correction aligned with technical downside targets and was less panic-driven than earlier sell-offs.
