When I created Claude Code as a side project back in Sep 2024, I had no idea it would grow into what it is today.
It's humbling to see Claude Code become a core dev tool for so many engineers from coding and DevOps to research and even non-technical use cases.
This technology feels alien and magical. Code is no longer the bottleneck.
A year ago, Claude struggled to generate bash commands and only worked for seconds or minutes at a time.
Fast forward to today:
• 259 PRs
• 497 commits
• ~40k lines added, ~38k removed
• Every line written by Claude Code + Opus 4.5
• Claude runs for minutes, hours, even days
Software engineering is changing. We're entering a new era of coding and we're just getting started.
