Thing is I feel like us who were born in a country of the you know which religion, we have a not so good view of religion because of how it was taught to us. So escaping from that mindset and pov that every other religion is gonna be the same is hard, but it’s worth a shot. I really used to dislike you know which religion because of the country I was born in that made it a living hell for me, but - and hear me out ik this is gonna seem corny and very religious - researching about polytheistic religions and hellenic polytheism really changed my view. I’m at peace now for the most part. I like to pray with no guilt, I feel relived there isn’t an omipresent god watching over me 24/7 and making sure I “go to hell” over wearing nail polish.

I talk with my gods when I feel down, or have question. I bring them offerings. I play their hymns. Light incense. Do readings. Feel overall grateful for what I have and feel happy when the signs I wanted are actually shown

Overall, very calming experience 10/10 would recommend

Btw I don’t hate any religion. I mainly blame the embodiments of it and their so called FANBASE in genz terms lmfao. It’s just lack of research and using it for political wars
