This is the whole point of Cabaret

In Cabaret, it’s a bumping club where “you can leave your worries aside” (as said by Emcee) , but in this club, it’s only to distract you from what’s going on outside. Facism. Racism. It’s all real issues but if you feel too scared and want to deny everything, then the Kit Kat club is where you go.

Same thing for right now. TikTok is our Cabaret. Instagram is our cabaret. Whatevery to distract you is a cabaret. When humans come face to face with real issues impacting humanity, they either fight for self preservation and mind, or stand up for the oppressed. If you choose to fight for self preservation, then you’re actively letting the oppression happen.
