I lied. Put your clothes back on. We’re gonna talk about how BTS was first a hip-hop based group and their first two/three albums were all hiphop based so bighit (company) sent them to a literal hip-hop camp in LA to get these boys to learn more about the genre from actual people who were in the genre and to know where this music came from. BTS learned about it, came back and literally created a whole album FULL of hip-hop songs and tracks (except ‘danger’ and ‘war of hormone’) they literally have a song called ‘Hip-Hop Phile’ where they talk about their love for the genre. Even tho they created so much amazing songs in this album, it didn’t give them much recognition and bighit had mainly invested in that side of the members dream - hip-hop. Since DARK&WILD kinda got these bitches into trouble (cough cough… WAR OF HORMONE 😭) they fast forward to the ripe day and age of 2015 with their release of HYYH (the most beautiful moment in life) pt. 1 where tracks like ‘I NEED U’ came in and Korea was LIT w that shit so they released pt 2, deluxe. Thats how they started getting more… pop and Edm. My boy Jungkook? Hitting the damn high notes. Their training was more hip-hop based but since the new era just fit Jk more they had to settle in w that since he’s like an ACE in kpop (all around member). So back to HYYH pt2 if I’m not wrong there were songs like ‘SAVE ME’ and ‘FIRE’ which are THE EPITOME of pop and edm you cannot tell me otherwise 💀 especially save me and ‘RUN’.

Now going to the ripe age of ‘WINGS’ where they release this damn album and keep in mind - this album had their PERSONAL PROJECTS IN IT. Yes, PERSONAL PROJECTS. AKA SOLO SONGS. And it’s fucking crazy cuz if you listen to the solo songs you can CATCH the hip-hop and R&B just میریزه ازش. And the thing is, it’s fucking crazy because I feel like this album is so… forgotten 😭 even tho it’s like… THEEEE most iconic bts album EVER?? This album is THEE bts album. When you think of bts, you think of this album. And I don’t mean forgotten by the fans (cuz let’s be honest here ARMYS glaze this album as they should) but general wise, this album did NOT get the credit. BS&T?? There will NEVER be another BS&T and it’s crazy how it didn’t get the hype it deserved by international standards.

WINGS should’ve been the ‘LOVE YOURSELF’ that was marketed in the western media. ‘DNA’ blew the fuck up you would hear that shit everywhere. Yeah I mean they made it… BUT WITH A POP ALBUM. These bitches were MADE for hip-hop 😭 they made a whole personal album w hip-hop nd R&B and WHAT HAPPENED??? People ignored that shit… even w a bit of pop in it (‘21st century girl’ I love you) but the fact that yall started taking them seriously w a pop album… like sure wings got marketed and even surpassed drakes album but yall started noticing them w a pop album? And yall complain about why bts is so “western” now??

YALL IGNORED THE BEST FUCKING ALBUMS 💀 the company realized it was clear yall don’t gaf about actual good music so they turned to the money making genre.

And now with their solo projects, let me break it down for you. The albums were ignored. Yeah… yall were the same bitches who dragged “LAYOVER” (Taehyung EP) cuz it didn’t “sound like taehyung!!” 💀💀 his first solo song was ‘STIGMA’. This man is IN LOVE with Jazz and The Blues. In an interview he literally stated if he wasn’t an idol he’d be a saxophonist. Jhopes album? STREET HIPHOP. Namjoons ep? R&B HIPHOP. Jimin is in latin r&b style, The only memberstill in the pop base genre is honestly Jungkook… but even HE had funk tracks in his solo album (cough cough STANDING NEXT TO YOU…) that is jazz r&b. That is SOUL R&B BITCHES..
