የመቐለ ቴክኖሎጂ ኢንስቲትዩት (MIT-MU) ከ2011 እስከ 2016 ዓ.ም የዩኒቨርሲቲ መግቢያ ፈተና የወሰዱ እና ለወንዶች 400 (ከአጠቃላይ 700) እና ለሴቶች 385 (ከአጠቃላይ 700) ያመጡ ተማሪዎች በኢንስቲትዩቱ ለመማር ማመልከት እንደሚችሉ አሳውቋል፡፡
በ1995 ዓ.ም የተመሠረተው ኢንስቲትዩቱ፤ በሳይንስ፣ በኢንጂነሪንግ እና በኢንፎርሜሽን ቴክኖሎጂ የልህቀት ማዕከል ለመሆን እየሠራ የሚገኝ ተቋም ነው።
