A friend of mine once said men don’t approach women and get dates anymore (I’m mainly talking like zoomer generation and anybody still in their 20s) because women have pigeon-holed their dating life to dating apps (which necessarily promulgates hookup culture) and owing to that men don’t approach women because is unusual now and they don’t want to be accused of sexual harassment etc.

Thing is… women haven’t changed, we thought they did, we were told they did, but they didn’t.

See a pretty girl and say her jumper is nice and she has excellent taste, say it compliments her eyes, ask if you can buy her a drink or for her number, go on a first date and bring her flowers, pay for the meal and get her a cake. She’ll be so taken aback by the show of gallantry so uncommon now she’ll certainly think you’re unique and a romantic, confident and charming. In a woman’s head - and I don’t mean this in a dismissive or patronising way - they still have a conception of what chivalry and romance looks like; it looks like compliments, buying her a meal, flowers and laying your coat down in puddles or something. Women haven’t changed. You were told they did. Feminism insisted they did. But they didn’t. If modern males had any hutzpah at all they’d have an abundance of dates all the time until they met one who is wife material.

Make sure you not only have your primary source of income, but secondary and even passive forms to suppliment when your primary income disappears. If none of that seems reasonable, then I want you to look at your collection of shoes and count the pairs; I want you to take your daily wears and set them aside and wear another pair.

I want you to think and imagine what it'd be like if your primary pair of shoes were no longer able to be worn and I want you to imagine the relief you'll have by being able to jump into a backup pair.
