so umm.... the bot is broken, yea.
spotify suddenly changed their api responses format, so my bot can't parse them anymore.
i tried quickly patching thta up, but the code is so old and janky, i failed.
it's not the only issue with this project, there are more:
- unstable downloader (often, the audio file wouldn't load, showing an error instead)
- some yandex music auth issues?? idk i never use yandex music, but people complained a lot
- ???? im sure there are 500 more issues im unaware of
meaning, this project needs a lot of attention, some big refactoring and proper maintenance.
sad news: i don't really have much free time i could spend on pet projects such as @nowplaybot anymore since 2020 when i got a full time job >.<
i'll try my best to find some time, but i can't promise anything rn.
also, i've always been better at maintaining stuff i use myself (hence better Spotify support in this bot), and well...
since i don't really listen to music lately (other than some background dnb) bc depression, and have no need to share it, i'm barely motivated to fix that shit.
i usually have more energy in warm seasons, so maybe.. april/may? idk! i hate it all!
i'm not making this open source cuz i hate my 2020 code, sorry.
if you feel like giving me a nudge, feel free to @donateanna. i'll probably feel guilty and will be forced to work on this sooner.

бот сломался, я попробовала быстро его починить, но код древний и всратый, поэтому ничего не получилось.
проекту нужно больше времени, сил и внимания, чтобы починить эту и другие накопившиеся проблемы.
я немножко овощ, так что этих ресурсов у меня сейчас нет.
релизить бота в опенсорс я не буду, потому что код говно и мне за него стыдно (не спорьте со мной об этом, пожалуйста).
постараюсь починить как смогу, не знаю когда.
можете попробовать @donateanna, вдруг это меня подбодрит, но обещать что-то сложно.
