分享澳大利亚作曲家Elena Kats-Chernin在她的专辑unsent love letters - meditations on Erik Satie中的一首Tuesday Suit～这张专辑inspired by Satie生活中的很多元素，比如有Le Chat Noir, 有postcard to a critic，biqui（对瓦拉东的爱称）等等。作曲家对Tuesday Suit的介绍是这样的：

“There were seven grey velvet suits found in Satie’s wardrobe, I guess he wore one for each day of the week. He died on a Wednesday and I imagine he might have been buried in his Tuesday suit. The piece features quintuplets and has a mesmeric, rather reflective tone.”

各位朋友，重大新闻，最近在莱比锡出土了一些特别珍贵的手稿，现在证据指向Bach其实还有一个儿子，第21个儿子：人称P.D.Q. Bach，在生前就发表大量作品。作品一经发表，就让音乐界陷入彻底的混乱，因为他的作品实在太前卫了：既有着古典主义的典雅，还略暗示着美国乡村音乐的进程。有资料表示，这个Bach的儿子可能有预知未来的能力，他不仅可以把握未来的风格，还能预测未来音乐的走向。今天我们就来听一首他的作品Konzertschitche for two violins mit orchestra，由John Williams指挥，著名小提琴家Perlman和一位神秘人士演出。

早上分享中的“神秘人士”其实就是P.D.Q. Bach本人（其实应该算是“爸爸”，因为是creator…这位P.D.Q (Pretty Damned Quick) Bach是著名的音乐喜剧大师Peter Schickele虚构出来的一个人物，Peter Schickele是当代美国作曲家，音乐教育家和喜剧大师，他过去在茱莉亚学作曲，后来发现了自己的喜剧天赋，创造了P.D.Q Bach这个人物并写了很多恶搞作品，比如“Unbegun” Symphony，A Little Nightmare Music, Missa Hilarious, S. N2O

今天开始分享一些春天相关的曲目，大家一起过春天🪁🌱🌷～

分享的第一首可能大家overheard了lol，就是Vivaldi Four Seasons里的Spring，发表于1725年。与音乐同时发表的还有accompany poems（可能是由Vivaldi所写），而我们也可以在音乐中听到诗中的各种元素，鸟鸣，溪水，犬吠，风笛等等～春天的诗如下（有不同翻译版本）：
I. Allegro
Spring has arrived with joy
Welcomed by the birds with happy songs,
And the brooks, amidst gentle breezes,
Murmur sweetly as they flow.

The sky is caped in black, and
Thunder and lightning herald a storm
When they fall silent, the birds
Take up again their delightful songs.

II. Largo e pianissimo sempre
And in the pleasant, blossom-filled meadow,
To the gentle murmur of leaves and plants,
The goatherd sleeps, his faithful dog beside him.

III. Allegro

今天来听皮亚佐拉The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires中的春，写于1970年～皮亚佐拉的四季其实是先写了Summer，然后是Winter，之后才写了Autumn和Spring并被组合在一起，一般的演奏顺序为Winter, Summer, Autumn, Spring。这套作品受到了Vivaldi四季的影响，一是当时正值Vivaldi的四季再次流行，二是每个season都遵循了fast-slow-fast的结构，和Vivaldi的每个乐章相同，三是里面含有一些Vivaldi的motif，但是由于阿根廷位于南半球，季节和北半球相反，所以motif也是“反”着用的（比如皮亚佐拉的Summer里有Vivaldi的Winter元素）～

大家周五愉快～今天分享美国作曲家Aaron Copland的著名作品Appalachian Spring，分享他指挥的版本～这部作品最初是芭蕾音乐，舞蹈家Martha Graham的一个commission，后来被rearrange成Orchestral suite。其中最著名的一个旋律来自Shakers（全称是United Society of Believers in Christ's Second Appearing）的一首歌，原名叫Simple Gifts～（具体位置请点这里：https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xxd1cmenki8&t=1117s）

很有意思的是这首曲子在创作的时候并没有名字，Copland就叫它Ballet for Martha～Appalachian Spring的名字是Martha后来取的，来源自Hart Crane的一首诗：
O Appalachian Spring! I gained the ledge;
Steep, inaccessible smile that eastward bends
And northward reaches in that violet wedge
Of Adirondacks!

所以作曲家在写作的时候并没有想Appalachian，也没有想spring（诗中的spring还是泉水的意思，并不是春天的意思😂），但是几乎每个听到这首曲子的人都觉得置身于阿巴拉契亚山脉的春天之中～万物复苏，草长莺飞～

今天分享一首Symphony，Schumann的Symphony No.1 “Spring”～与昨天那首阴差阳错感觉像春天很不同，Schumann在写作这首作品的时候脑中是有春天的图景的，本来四个movement被分别冠以了“The Beginning of Spring” “Evening” “Merry Playmates” 和 “Spring in Full Bloom”的标题，虽然最后在出版时被删去，他还曾在一封信中写道：
"Could you breathe a little of the longing for spring into your orchestra as they play? That was what was most in my mind when I wrote [the symphony] in January 1841. I should like the very first trumpet entrance to sound as if it came from on high, like a summons to awakening. Further on in the introduction, I would like the music to suggest the world’s turning green, perhaps with a butterfly hovering in the air, and then, in the Allegro, to show how everything to do with spring is coming alive... These, however, are ideas that came into my mind only after I had completed the piece."

（感谢Ching兄今天的输入！）今天分享一首有点布尔乔亚情调的安可小品"En avril，à Paris"，(在四月，在巴黎) 这是钢琴大师Weissenberg改编的Trenet 六首歌中的一首，细腻的和声中充满了法式的沙龙情调，曼妙的旋律，灵动的舞姿，把我们带回到了上个世纪的巴黎街头，仿佛让我们身临其境一段跨越时间的感情。不知那是淡淡的如同before sunrise 的约定? 还是浓浓的love me if you dare 的挣扎？ 请各位朋友欣赏。

我们今天选择的版本是钢琴家Hamelin在一场live 音乐会中演奏的。Hameline的炫技技术是举世皆知的，对于超炫技的作品，他几乎从来都不拒绝，比如Godowsky的肖邦练习曲的改编曲。而在这次演奏中，我们可以看到他更加丰富而多样的技术控制力，多变的音色，跌宕的分句。既有着开合的张力，又有着克制的调度，比如大家可以听他1:22秒对踏板和触键地精妙处理。

今天分享德彪西的Printemps (春天）～Printemps是他的一首早期作品，写于1885年，是首次和"Impressionism"联系起来的一部作品（不过当时是负面评价，ref 1）。

Printemps本是为交响乐团和无词合唱团写作，可惜原稿现已丢失。我们现在听到的两乐章symphonic suite是由Henri Büsser在1912年在Debussy的指导下，从遗留下来的合唱团和钢琴reduction版本重新为交响乐团编排的 (ref 2)。

p.s. 这不是Debussy唯一一部和春天有关的作品(ref 3)，他还有Rondes de printemps (是Images pour orchestre中的一个movement）和Salut Printemps～
