Начнём со статьи "Byte Pair Encoding for Symbolic Music", послушаем разные примеры нагенеренной музыки, обсудим архитектуру трансформеров. Затем посмотрим на реальные миди-файлы, поищем в них тонику и пообсуждаем, нужно ли трансформерам знать что-то о теории музыки.

В понедельник с @boredtoad вырезаем вручную трафареты из бумаги, тыкаем по ним валиком/ губкой и смотрим, как они апгрейдят даже самый простой рисунок. Уже уметь что-то необязательно, всё покажем и попробуем вместе.
Запасаем штемпельные подушки, острые ножи для бумаги, губки и валики, и начинаем эксперимент!

Primacy bias in PPO
"The Primacy Bias in RL" shows how we can improve sample efficiency and increase the expected return with weight resets. I will tell how we tried leveraging resets in PPO and analyzed primacy bias phenomena.

The plan:
- How to compare RL algorithms: "rliable" recommendations
- The Primacy Bias in RL: when resets work, and when they don't
- Resets in PPO: what we tried (spoiler: nothing worked)
- Heavy Priming experiment: overfitting on one batch at the beginning of the training. Differences between SAC and PPO, the probable cause of PPO stability.

2. Backdoors in VIA x86 CPUs

We find internal control registers can enable the user to bypass security mechanisms, e.g., allowing ring 0 access at ring 3 in some common commercial VIA CPUs. At the seminar, we'll discuss how deep we need to dig into CPU to find a hidden backdoor/bug and which instruments we have for this. Paper, talk.
